I have a Question; I purchased a 2025 Wrangler Sport 3.6L manual transmission. I have 2644 miles and had a defective battery. I took it to the dealership and had the battery replaced. I picked up the Jeep from the dealership yesterday and drove it home. This morning, I wanted to make sure the battery was working and went to start it. As I approached the Jeep it sounded like a fan was on, like when you press the start button twice without starting it and the A/C comes on. Nothing was on in the jeep (radio, lights ect) when I started the vehicle the noise stopped. Has anyone else had this happen. I also never noticed this happen prior to taking it to the dealership.

The evap system makes a noise like you described and runs while the Jeep is off; it's possible you just happened to catch it in the act.

It seems unlikely a new battery would cause an issue, but it's worth monitoring.

There's a small plastic coolant pump that runs, as well. It's normal.

Two days after picking it up from the dealership the battery is dead again, and the air conditioner pulsates when blowing, I’m taking it back to the dealership tomorrow

The dealership said the fan blower control module was out and they ordered the part. I was contacted the following day and told the part didn’t fix the problem and they don’t know what is wrong. I was told they have contacted the manufacturer for assistance in determining the issue. They did not know when we would get our Jeep back

That’s really frustrating, especially for a brand-new vehicle.

It sounds like there’s more going on than just a bad battery or blower module—possibly an electrical issue or some kind of parasitic drain. Sometimes when a control module fails, it can affect other systems too, which might explain the dead battery and the pulsing A/C. The fact that the dealership contacted the manufacturer suggests it’s not a straightforward fix.

Hopefully they’ll get to the bottom of it quickly and you’ll have your Jeep back soon. Definitely keep us posted—this could be useful info for others down the road.

Fingers crossed for a quick resolution!
