Is it easier to take the 2dr hard top off with the panels in place or keep them attached?

Thursday looks nice yet cool so I might get the wife to help me put it in the garage for the one day before the rain starts again lol

I use a Harken lifting device. My advice when lifting and reinstalling is to keep it as flat as possible. I learned the hard way that if any one end is lower than the others, it’ll bounce off said surface and scratch the paint. It’s In deep enough that rubbing compound didn’t take the scratches out.

You may want to lay some towels down until just after the top is lifted or right before it lands. The last time I reinstalled, the front was lower than the rear window and swung forward on me. I ended up scuffing up the upper tips of the doors. Most people won’t notice. I do as I did it to myself.
