Okay, but keep in mind that if the battery on your key fob dies you need to press the start button with the key fob. I'm not sure if this will or will not interfere with that, but it might.

I'm a fan of modification, but I was trying to figure out what it was for. Seems like it solves a problem I didn't think anyone was having ??‍ I'm assuming it is purely for ascetics, if it suits your taste I don't see any harm in it.

Edit: "aesthetic" but I'm leaving it ?

I have a similar one at home ready to install - picking up the Jeep tomorrow. Following in case someone replies before I get to it.

And yes, it's an aesthetic mod 100%, 0% functionality added. I will see if it makes me happy enough to keep it on vs removing it.
