question, what does the Reaper cover for ? engine ?
Electronic sway disco if I had to guess
Yep, basically just keep the swaybar disconnect from getting smashed up, although seeing as the skid has very little damage I'm not sure it does anything other than look pretty

If you buy the skid for the OEM cover, can you add an aftermarket cover later or not?

Mines all dented up and has 100% saved my disconnect.

That's a good question, I own both so I could probably hold one up to the other and see if everything lines up the same or not, but it'll be a few days before I can get to it. I'd bet a quick call to MC might get that answer

I think it will depend on the cover. From looks (definietly confirm with them), but you should be able to throw away the bracket and put on the MC front cover.

There are several types of aftermarket covers, I think anything cast won't be able to reuse the bracket, and probably a maybe for sheet steel covers.

By the way, the MC team are all Jeepers and great guys. Don't hesitate to call, but their chat function on the MC site is actually them too. @CloakedWillys helped me troubleshoot something over chat earlier this week.

You can add our front cover to it and it will bolt right up. Other brands of covers would require modifying that OE cover bracket.
