My trackbar used to do that on trails. I could never get anything to move upfront, and torqued everything to spec, but every time I went on trails I would get a "clunk". I used a gopro to help me figure it out and I tightened my upper trackbar and it is finally gone after several attempts at finding it.
Still contemplating the standard bolt replacements to make sure mine stay tight. Was weird.

Over the weekend I replaced my brake / clutch fluid. Brakes went and feel fine. I never let the reservoir go dry / take air. Was extra careful on the clutch side. After getting clean fluid out of the slave , and sealing the system, I could not get the clutch pedal to return on its own. I pumped the pedal 50 times like Jeep and I believe centerforce recommends and still no pedal return. In the past when bleeding the system I’ve alway got the pedal back after 20 or so times. I lifted the rear of the jeep so the slave bleeder was the high point (which is quite a bit) I bled the system 10 or so times as Jeep recommends with the mighty vac. At least that many times with holding the clutch pedal down and opening the slave bleeder. And lastly left it sit over night with suction on the system at the reservoir opening. This morning the I was still at 15 on the mighty vac so I have to assume no air / leaks in the system. I think the pedal still feels a bit off, and with the rear tires still in the air when I first push clutch down and try and put into any gear, doesn’t matter which, the tires will start to spin for a second or two then completely stop as I’m in whichever gear and clutch is still down. At that point if I keep clutch down and shift to any gear there is zero movement. If I release the pedal and press again try to shift into any gear tire movement again. I have noticed this before I changed fluid for a while now when driving. On flat ground and not on the brakes when I first push clutch down and shift the jeep will just slighting move. That seemed to start last year when my clutch pedal noise started. I was able to scope and see all contact points for the clutch setup in the bellhousing and everything is clean and no grease build up on the disc splines (didn’t expect this as I put the clutch in and used act’s grease and the same amount as they used in their install video) I’ve been questioning for some time if my sound isn’t the slave, but hate replacing parts just for practice. Thoughts anyone? Act pro mass with around 5k miles on it 38k on Jeep. Thanks

The diaphragm spring likely overcentered. Starting the engine may cause it to pop back.
it’s been started several times. I got the pedal back to normal after taking the slave out and standing it up basically and gravity bleeding it. Still when rear is up on stands I get the tires to move a little when shifting into gear like explained. That hasn’t changed with pedal feel/ bleeding. Tires move the same amount each time.

After reading through this thread, I know there were previous reports of this issue happening with stock clutches. Has anyone recently had this issue with a ‘25 off the lot?

I’ve seen a few older years 18-24 but haven’t seen anyone with a 25.

picking mine up in a few weeks from the dealer and before I do, want to make sure I’m not setting myself up to go back to the dealership after delivery.

My last Jeep that I got out of (08 JKU) ended up replacing the transmission and the clutch never worked right again. Which is what led me to sell it.

I haven't read any 2025 stories yet but as long as it comes with the new software update there is a high chance it'll end up with a Serv Transmission error and go into limp mode.

Between the clutch issues on our 18 jl (which i am currently happy with my ACT clutch so far) maybe some minor annoyances if anything that I’m actively messing with to avoid a future problem. Also the annoyances that I have I’ve heard of them with stock clutches as well. Time will tell if I ever will have any issues who knows. And the corrosion issues these jeeps have alone would make me stay away from them all together. Yes I know I’m in Ohio we salt our roads blah blah blah. Mines been oil coated and has never seen a salted road since new, sits in an insulated garage all winter / first day I see a salt truck. Mine also showed no signs of corrosion that I could tell until the 5 year warranty was up so now it’s all on me to pay for which I know they can’t warranty a car forever, but I don’t think mine should be doing this after only 6 years for no reason. That all being said we still love ours lol.
