I've owned a 2018 JLUR for about 6 months now. I'm not sure if it's always done this or I'm just now noticing. But there is a whine that comes from the manual transmission that increases in pitch as speed increases. Since I've owned the Jeep the dealer has done the clutch recall twice, I've changed the transmission fluid, put new tires on it, and changed the gears to 4.88's. I do not associate the noise as having started with any of these. The only reason I think it may have always been there is because the old tires were so noisy you couldn't hear anything else over them and I've only had the new, quiet tires for about a month now. It may be normal, and I have no performance issues with the transmission, but the pitch of the noise does seem to catch my eardrums in a way similar to nails on a chalkboard. No one else really even notices it when they ride with me. I've always had extremely sensitive hearing. I'm going to try to get a video of it later today to post. It may be normal?

I attached a recording. The noise can be heard in the background behind all the road and wind noise. At one point about halfway through I push the clutch in and let the engine come to idle to eliminate engine noise. You can really hear it then.

Maybe this is normal, IDK. Even if someone could verify that it is normal I'd appreciate it. I can live with it if I know it's normal.
