Not picking at you, but did you really need leather seats? Heated seats? Cargo Tub liner? Door Sill guards? Floor mats? Trimming those options would have significantly reduced the cost of your Jeep. In a lot of cases, peoples Jeep are going up in price because of the options they have selected. I bought a lot of options that I didn't need, but I wanted, so I understandIf you were to add those options after you got the Jeep, it would have saved money.
To which sticker are you referring? Some of the 2024 stuff was not removable and I wanted to compare as closely as possible to the 2019. For the 2019, I wanted Mojito and it was the only one around that I could find so had to take it as it was.

In the end, the options are close as they could be between year models, and the point was to show the cost differences on a 1:1 basis for comparison purposes to highlight the increases and not to show how cheaper it might have been if options had been removed.

stellantis is facked, back when wagoneer was released it was 39k tack on todays inflation etc should make it 70k whats it sell for 120k!!! i think its the people that are buying these vehicles that are the problem, jeep is no longer for the fan its for families etc. selling cars like this gives them this entitlement thats complete horse apples, nevermind the bailouts etc, bunch of jokers...

The question is - how bad does it have to get before they admit their prices are too high?

I suppose it's actually not a bad thing if they continue to just be stubborn about it and end up selling the Jeep brand instead of coming to the obvious realization that they created this situation with their price hikes.

This could be a win-win for us.
😂😂😂 Good luck! That will only happen if all other manufactures are doing the same. Within relative and similar criteria, they are priced in line with everyone else. But, don’t give up on your dreams. 🤣

You guys are not realistic 4 years ago, I could build a house in my area for $150/sf. Now it’s $350/sf.

With that math your are looking at about 133% increase with the wagoneer it’s about a 233% increase so yeah I get it building supplies have gone up so have steel and petroleum based products…

No. I just respond like an idiot without doing any research. I’m uneducated, ignorant and haven’t owned 11 jeeps (CJ7, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler) among other manufacturers like Chevy (Tahoe, suburban, Silverado, Camaro) Ford (LTD, Expedition, F150), Toyota (PUs), Nissan, Volvo, and BMW (330 and 530). But, educate me please!

If you actually read the thread, you'd already be educated and you wouldn't have posted something so incorrect.

Maybe you can educate me on something - how many IQ points do you get with each vehicle you own? I wasn't aware I was getting smarter with each vehicle purchase...but I see this claim made often: "i've owned X Jeeps so I know more than you!". It's quite intriguing.

2012 2 door rubicon 50k
2015 unlimited rubicon 55k

If by gas you mean 392…you can get a ‘base’ rubicon for $47k (2 door) or $51k (4 door).

not in Canada…I can’t even imagine paying what people are paying for 392 wasn’t gonna say anything cause of the hurt feelings reports that would surely follow…

No tears my guy, I just think stellantis is facked and there’s some proof to show inflation and price gouging imho and experience.
