I damaged the drain plug on my front differential. I was able to remove it, but now I need a new one and I can't figure out the correct part number.

I have the axles from a 2021 392 (Dana 44, I think). The busted diff drain plug has a flange. (The fill plugs are cylinders with no flange.)

I've tried the part numbers:
  1. 4626710AC (The dealer suggested this one, but it turned out to be a fill plug.)
  2. 68401316AA (says it's a drain plug and it has a magnet, but the threading is off and it doesn't have a flange.
Does anyone know the correct part number?

Thanks.

There are probably some dudes in your local area with stock covers rusting in their garage. Maybe ask a local jeep club? Also, grest time to upgrade so that doesn't happen again.

I thought about that, but the drain plug is on the pumpkin, not on the cover. Even if I got a different cover, I'd need to replace the drain plug.

Got a pic of the old one?

If it were mine, I’d put a standard plug in it and weld it shut.
