My guess would be that the hole you use would be determined by the pinion angle which would be a result of how much of a lift the Jeep has.

Correct or if you want to put a little extra in.

Yea I would not overfil to the top hole. I fill to the bottom, and put one more squeeze of oil in the top as my garage has a slight slope. Hope that doesn’t cause an issue.
