Locking Gas Caps recommendations?

With gas prices soaring, I'm reading gas theft is on a big rise...so, what locking gas cap or cover are yall using?

I have/love the genuine mopar locked gas cap that uses your jeep key. You can key it yourself and quadratec has a great video showing how to do it.

Most cars made in the last 30 years have built into the filler neck an anti siphon device. I put on this Genuine Dodge RAM Accessories 5278655AB Locking Gas Cap to prevent someone from putting dirt, sugar, etc in the gas tank. I paid $19 for it a few months ago but prices have doubled.

You do realize that our JLs have anti-siphon gas tanks/fillers, right? The only thing a locking gas cap prevents, is someone pouring something into your tank.

A better question is why Jeep doesn't put a locking door like other manufactures have for 40 years. Pulling a lever by the side of the drives seat is way more convenient than a key.

Locking gas caps result in tool marks on the side of the vehicle when a would be thief pries the cap off with a pry bar.

I didn't realize stealing fuel was still going on. I actually thought it was a thing of the past. I also thought there were baffles in place to prevent siphoning.
