Light brown spots, not rust

I just discovered these spots on my new-to-me Jeep. Any idea what it could be. they didn’t come off after a wash. Thanks so much!!

Lol, all good my friend. We all were at some point. I'm sure a clay bar will get the spots off.

Tried this. It didn’t touch it. I left it on for about a min or so.

Are you saying it didn't work? Make sure you shake it and rub it aggressively (that didn't sound right!) If that didn't work, then I would try a light polish or clay bar.

Yeah. Didn’t seem to help. I’ll try again. More aggressively this time!
