It is beginning to sound like they have no idea what they even sell. Both my rears are same part number.

What I think is crazy , is Maximus using another companies spring........

I saw a video last year from a lift manufacturer and supposedly there are only 2 maybe 3 companies in the whole world that produce coil springs to order. The message was, regardless of what you think you are getting most of you are getting the same coils, rebranded.

@Roky is correct. This is straight from the install instructions

As pictured above - I have 2 driver side spring seats. I do not have a pass side spring seat.

Also the instructions are completely different. There is NO "D" or "P" marking on either front or rear springs.

Maybe Maximus chose not to use the RK spring correction pads. You can order them for $20 versus buying new springs. Of course call them first as it says for JL's with standard JL springs.

What I have is REAR - Part #RK06845. It included 2 pads, and those replaced the OEM pad. Neither spring is marked as "D" or "P", and both pads and springs are same size. The OEM pad was almost the same as the one included with the RK.

Yeah..... this is at least 1/2” of your problem.

Take a good look at the bottom of the pads closely and under good light, if I remember correctly the D and P were pretty hard to see being black on black. Worth a second look,

You guys got it right!! I went out and did a visual inspection. Not easy to do on the driver side based on the way the Maximus 3 bracket is installed. The pad that is on the driver side is .5" taller than the pad on the passenger side. It is plain as day *NOW* that I know to look for it.

If you take .5" away from the driver, and add it to the passenger, guess where you end up

The bottom line - it was an ID-10-T error on my part, with focus on the springs vs the correction pads themselves.

I’m sorry... I didn’t realize that Maximus uses RK springs, I could have been more help in my post # 6 made back in November......
