Hi all, driven a bunch of jeeps, but still a newbie and first time owner here looking to get some input on lift/driving upgrades on JLU Sahara coming in. This will be 90% daily driver with quite a bit of highway driving and 10% off roading. Trying to nip everything in the bud from the get go

wanting a 2.5” lift. Have been looking at Teraflex, AEV and Rock Krawler. Leaning towards the RK Ultimate Adventure with 2.0 Fox shocks and 35” KO2’s.

Looking at maybe adding Steer Smarts Drag Link with the Griffin Attenuater to try and reduce any harsh feedback and DW.

Recommendations on anything else might need or look into? Would I need a new Track Bar?

Any recommendations and opinions welcome

Also the RK lift kit ncludes:
  • (4) Triple rate coil springs
  • (2) Front Adventure Series lower control arms
  • (2) Front adjustable upper control arms
  • (2) Front spring pads
  • (1) Adjustable front track bar
  • (2) Rear Adventure Series lower control arms
  • (2) Rear adjustable upper control arms
  • (2) Rear spring pads
  • (2) Extended rear sway bar links
  • (1) Bolt-on rear track bar relocation bracket

Thanks!

The RK kit is great. Are you planning on getting new wheels? If not you might want to reconsider. You’ll need wheels with less backspacing or wheel spacers in order to not rub. Check the notes for the kit on RKs site. Also the attenuator is just a gimmick, don’t waste your money.

I am getting new wheels. Think 4.75/5 backspacing on them
