I am looking at the LED conversions for the tail lights (run, brake, blinker) and blinker lights and the Diode Dynamics site talks about the required resistors to prevent Hyper Blinking. Is this necessary if I change the settings to LED via the Tazer mini?

I have converter all of my halogen lights on my JLu sport to Oracle or Mopar factory LED assemblies and used my JScan to tell my computer they are LED, no issues.

Thanks. I took the DD LED brake lights (and front blinker) out of my cart and will continue with looking at options and more research. I dont think having a resistor that gets hot enough to melt plastic is a very workable solution.

Using the Tazer works great with the DD bulbs. Just don’t get the XP80 bulbs for the front running lights if you have a Sahara or rubicon.

So are you saying the resistor was not necessary if using the Tazer?

I have avoided the turn signal lights and brake lights for this reason.

Correct. Everything works just fine once programmed with the Tazer. No warning messages, no hyper flashes.

I’ve had my DD bulbs in for over 4 years now. Had one rear turn fail after a few months and their customer service was perfect. No problems other than that.
