I hate that Jeep is even offering this. Theres no way it wont leak, especially over time.
It’s a great idea in theory, if everything were manufactured and assembled by hand. Even if they are assembled perfectly, all those move parts and seals spell problems in a few years. Would be interested to see the data on how many of these tops end up on leased JLs versus cash/finance.

You mean just like every other top jeep offers? FCA has a whole manual on the troubleshooting to fix leaks for Wranglers (Hard top, soft top, etc.) If this were a standard top everybody would just be saying "Its a Jeep thing"... Good on Jeep for at least trying something different.

I love the Power Top. No regrets about ordering this option. Now only if I could stop the bloody thing from leaking.
Anybody with the power top review my earlier pics and provide some thoughts on where to start?

Can someone here with the Power Top provide pics of the driver and passenger rear corner seals on the power top? I would like to compare , as the two on mine do not match. The driver side seal where the leak is, has a much larger overlap with the horizontal seal that runs parallel to the lift gate. I believe this is likely the issue as the extended overlap on the horizontal seal may be preventing the rain water from rolling off to the side.

Can anybody please help? Any thoughts?

That looks bad even a little further up , I think you will have issues as time goes and I'm glad I passed on this option. Good luck with repairs.

First time leaking started today. Noticed the top seal has lifted on both sides.

I'm having the same issue with the seal on my 2019. Heavy rain today, water leaking onto visor and dash. Then I noticed the seal peeling up. Did the dealer fix your problem? Mine is going in this week . Thanks.

So far no leaks. Been in heavy rain and wind, coin-op power washing, no leaks.. Time will tell, live the feature.

Purchased a brand new 2019 JLUR with Power Top (factory order) on Saturday.
Sunday (day 2) was a rainy day and immediately exposed the leak with rain water dripping down driver side rear.
I have no clue where the leak is, there's no obvious visible clues on what's causing this.
WTF ... This is just plain ridiculous.
@JeepCares ... come on !!!

What did they tell you? I’m about to order mine

I found out us is also leaking in the back, both sides. So all 4 corners (both visors location at the front and both corners at the back) are leaking.

I am guess it is not a leak, it could be the moisture build up inside and collected at the corners.

Please tell me you figured it out before i order mine

So I may have been presumptuous in assuming a leak as I didnt take it in. I decided to wait it out and see if it happens again. Rained, and took it through touchless car wash and no leaks. So all is good for now. I love the versatility of the top. It really is a game changer. No regrets at all. This is my second jeep and I know they can be leaky and with this top being the first year I assumed there may be bugs. But like I said I'm thrilled with it.

Ok ... apologies for not posting an update earlier. So I solved the leaking problem myself without going to the dealer. The real problem is that the sealer and rubber trim is not applied properly at that spot causing a slight wedge. This prevented the rain water from rolling off to the side and eventually found its way inside as it pooled at that edge. With some light finger pressure and a blunt paper clip, I was able to push the wedge back in opening up the water channel. This solved my problem.

I believe the problems behind all these leaks is that the rubber seal around the top has some weak spots where the sealant hasn’t been applied properly, interfering / blocking the thin water channel that moves the water to the side of the Jeep.

The real problem though is poor quality control from the FCA factory.

Inspire of this hiccup, I love my Sky On-Touch and have no regrets about my decision.

Am I concerned that over time there could be additional leaks ? Definitely, but now I know more and will get it fixed from the dealer if there’s more.

I will post pics shortly on how the seal looks now.

Can you post picks on how you fixed it? I'm getting consistent drips both rear sides same places you were. It looks like that both rear corner seals are not sealed properly. I tried to push them back in but they just pop back out over time.
