Didn't work - I had to grind them off with a dremel type tool ... here's a video on You Tube on how to do it properly.
My advice to anyone who has these fancy anodized valve caps from eBay/amazon and has to drive in winter weather (snow-salt) ... get rid of them before these seize to the valve...
UPDATE: 1.5 yrs now and holding up really well. No rips / tears or any other damage so far from regular use. Of course, my Jeep has never been in true off road mode as yet so there's no real abuse here, just a few camping trips.

For sure you will save money ... I though about the same, but then I absolutely wanted the official 'Jeep' logo on the calipers. Don't think you want to paint that, unless you have great stenciling and painting skills.

But why the ugliness ? What was going on in the heads of FCA design engineers? Couldn’t they have done a cleaner integration of the heater element into the glass like all normal vehicles ... or use a clean white / black substrate ?
My local Jeep dealership claims that the discoloration is normal and exists on all new Jeeps. This is the strangest thing I have ever seen. $50K product ... does not have a clean rear hatch window.

The 10-20 second connection delay is normal for wireless Apple CarPly feature. I have a Kenwood DMX9706S Digital Multimedia receiver with wireless Apple CarPlay installed in my wife's older Honda Pilot, and it exhibits the same behavior...
None. Drives normal just like before.
A minor issue discovered during the install, the front caliper covers were going to rub against the factory balanced front wheel weights. I had to get the front wheels rebalanced at American Tire with the weights readjusted to prevent it from rubbing...
How is the quality - fit and finish on this grille? Any flaking of the powder coat? Does the grille insert sit flush against the outer JEEP front grille? Like ... are there any gaps or does it rattle? Thanks.
