Yeah, they fixed this on mine as well and it didnt solve the problem. Mine is leaking in all four corners and the worse leaking is in the rear. As of today they are still waiting on parts. Hope this gets resolved next week. I will update when I have more news.
Hopefully this fixes mine, as they rain the leak test after they “fixed” it & it did not leak anymore. I’m sorry to hear about your situation, but it seems like your situation was much worse than mine from the start. I hope they resolve it quickly. My fingers are crossed that this is the end of any issues, as I had a 2014 SRT Jeep a few years back & it was plagued with issues & had over $6k of warranty work performed within the first year of ownership (motor mounts, cam, 4 lifters, carbon fiber dash, etc.). That left me with a bad taste in my mouth about grand cherokees..but it seems Jeeps in general have quality issues. I replaced all my suspension on it & that seems to be a big issue with these things. And don’t get me started on rock chips on the windshield...Cracked my windshield 2 weeks after buying it, replaced it, then got another rock chip 2 weeks after repair...

Moving on up .....
I feel bad for everyone that's having this problem, it really stinks and yet another example of the horrific quality issues FCA has across the board. This is a premium feature at a premium price and totally flawed. I pondered buying my JLU with the sky one touch but ultimately feared that this type of situation would happen.....

When did you guys ordered yours? I placed an order for mine end of May, hopefully they have fixed the issue at production since so many have been having issues with it

OK ... Driver front corner developed a slow leak today after a downpour. 2 corner seals have now failed - driver rear and driver front. My JLUR is going to the dealer tomorrow morning :-(

UPDATE Jeep is still at the dealer. Talked to service advisor today and he said they have had to order 7 different parts to fix the leak. The engineers at Jeep have no idea how to fix the leaks atm they seem to be developing and trying different parts.

The issue is the rails the top slides on. Water accumulates in the track and basically had nowhere to go. So just because you have water inside it doesnt necessarily mean the water is leaking in that particular area. Theres a bulletin out now from Jeep to authorize the seals be replaced however this probably wont solve the problem long term.

I am going to wait until the Jeep is ready and then call Jeep Cares and ask what my options are. I'm not optimistic that the issue will ever be totally fixed tbh. I love the top, I really do and knowing Jeeps like I do I expected an issue with drips as time went on. However with only 1200 miles on the Jeep its unacceptable. It's been at the dealer for two weeks now and if it doesnt pass the water test after this latest part installation I wont be happy. I will update when I have more info.

@Rosedale61 That sucks. We should be seriously concerned if Jeep engineers themselves do not know how to reliably fix the problem.

Here’s an important suggestion - keep detailed notes on the problem, dates, communications, paperwork, etc. Will come extremely handy if you qualify for a Lemon.

I love my JLUR and the Sky One-Touch Powertop. However, if cannot be fixed reliably I will definitely consider filing for a Lemon. Hopefully that shouldn’t be the case. (Fingers crossed)

Yeah, I told the service advisor if it wasnt fixed correctly and completely without issue I want another vehicle. By what he said Jeep knows they have a big, big problem. Normally they only give loaners up to 6 days. Anything more than that the advisor has to contact Chrysler for approval. When he called them in my cases there wasn't any questions about the extension. Basically he was told to give me the loaner as long as I need it. He said that's the first time that has happened. Big red flag.

Yes another update. Picked up the vehicle today they replaced multiple seals and both rails. Ran a water test yesterday let it sit overnight. Then ran another water test today then drove it. They said no leaks. Brought it home parked it in the driveway then the rain came. Figured we would find out soon if its fix. Well, it's not. Still leaking left rear same spot as before. Going back in to service tomorrow. Any suggestions what my next step should be? [GALLERY=][/GALLERY]

 @Rosedale61 Talk to @JeepCares here. They should be able to open up options.
Again keep pushing until it’s resolved ... if not after 3 attempts (typically) file for a Lemon. At least that would be my strategy.
