So...........I hate writing this but I experienced my first water leak on Saturday with my power top. I had water pour in from the drivers side front of the sky power top and then collected on the drivers side visor and then it would pour down on me. I will make an appointment with my Jeep dealer, hopefully they will be able to figure this out but from the sounds of it this still sounds like FCA is still trying to figure out a fix for this issue.

Chiming in here because my 2018 is leaking on the passenger side. Drips down onto the visor and then onto the seats/floor. It's going in for a new windshield shortly so I'll be bringing up the leaky top as well.
Before long FCA will be telling us that in order to prevent leaks we shouldn't take our Jeeps to car washes or expose it to heavy rain. I spoke to them and honestly this is what they are alluding to. Crazy .

So first big rains since the top was fixed and no leaks. It has leaked through a car wash though and FCA is telling me that it shouldn't be run through a high pressure car wash. To me I think that's ridiculous considering what I paid for the vehicle. At this point the dealer is telling me they wont do anything further unless it leaks under normal rainy conditions. I havent decided yet what my next step will be if any.

If that's FCA's current position then they should include it in the manual and make it official. Knowing how weak the seals are, I would not recommend high pressure "anything" near the power top.
Now, if it ain't leaking then sit back and enjoy the power top. Hopefully the issue is fixed for good.

That's exactly what I told them. Put it in the manual. They wont do that though fearing it would hurt sales. As far as the car wash goes I wont take it to another high pressure wash unless absolutely necessary. Thing is what do you do in the winter when its really cold and the Jeep is covered in salt and grime?? Cant really wash it in my driveway lol.

I've attached to an earlier post what an outside contractor did to fix mine. I would copy that and take it to your dealer when you drop the Jeep off. Any info you can gather that can help fix the problem right away will save you trips to the dealer. Just my two cents.
Thanks so much I really appreciate it!

UPDATE: Big rains last night and into the morning today. The driver side front corner on the power top is still leaking, albeit it is very minor as compared to earlier. So, the problem still exists.

Looking at the seals and the water management channel built into the rail, I doubt it is the seal that’s leaking outright. I ran a few tests using a common gardening water pot and a few gallons of water and could not replicate the leak.

As such, I am convinced there’s a design flaw, wherein some rain water is going outside the built in channel when it rains heavily.

Now what should I do ?

I would take the screenshot of what the Water Doctor did to fix mine. We've had some good rains the last couple of days and no leaks. Also keep in mind not only did they reseal the whole top and both side removable windows but they also replaced both rails. On top of that the outside contractor said the replacement seals done at the dealer were done incorrectly which is why he reinstalled them.

I will be waiting for another major rain event to conform the location and severity once again and then will follow suit. Thanks.
Does the replacement rails and resealing on your jeep look the same as the original?

Second big rain here in Boston and you guessed it..........rain leaking from drivers side front of sky top that will leak onto visor and then onto my lap. I am also getting a couple of drops that fall onto my arm. Vehicle is going in tomorrow for the squeak, we will see what the verdict is.

If you read my earlier replies you can see what was done to mine to fix the leaks. We've had heavy rains and knock on wood no more leaks. Only leaks when going through a car wash which I've stopped doing.

Yikes. Exact same issue as mine.

FWIW ... I have noticed something very peculiar. The driveway to my garage is sloped at approximately 3 degrees. I park my Jeep on the driveway all the time. When the front is facing the garage, the Jeep has a pitch angle of +3 degrees. When parked this way, NO leaks after a heavy downpour. Apparently, the excess rainwater seems to be channeled to the rear and does not accumulate at the leaking spot on the front driver side of the Jeep. Similarly, when the Jeep is parked on a flat plane there is NO noticeable leaking.
Now, I have observed that the Powertop leaks when the Rubi is parked the other way around, with the front facing away from the garage and towards the street, to incur a pitch angle of -3 degrees. I believe all the excess rainwater is channeled forwards towards the leaking spot on the front driver side. No wonder, the dealership could not replicate the leak in their water test as the Jeep was probably parked on a flat surface.

I have relayed my concerns and findings to my Jeep service advisor and will be rescheduling another service soon, once they have a respectable loaner available. I refuse to drive a non Wrangler loaner for more than a day (they were providing a Chrysler Pacifica loaner).

UPDATE:

SO I brought my jeep in for service today to rectify the squeak and the water leak and this is what I am being told. direct from the repair order: Water test and found water leaking at front header. adjusted hard top to verify proper fitment and performed top calibration and retest for water leak after top calibration and hardtop adjustment found no leaking from front header seal Service bulletin case number S1923000020 release date 04/26/2019 they also said that at this point top needs to be removed and all hardware needs to be inspected.

The service manager stated that the most likely the entire sky power top is going to need to be replaced and that I am going to have to bring the vehicle back in for this repair.

The whole experience has been awful especially since I got a phone call saying the Jeep was all set and then as I am pulling in I get a text message from the advisor to disregard the phone call and to call the service manager. I replied and said that I am pulling in and that I would come in and talk. When I spoke to the service manager he stated that the car is actually not fixed and that I could leave it for them to continue to work on it or reschedule.
