Nope, it was at least 2021 as both of mine had it.

I don’t know if it was a model year change or just a midyear software update hence my use of the word “about”.

My late July early Aug 21 build doesn’t have exit honks.

My current Jeep is a 5/21 build and the previous was either March or April 2021 as we bought it the first week of May. Both were 4xe models, so maybe they had started some updated software changes earlier on them.

It sort of makes sense in a vehicle that is silent, you could get out and not know you left it running. It’s annoying In a combustion engine vehicle.

If you grab your key fob, and hover it above the driver side rear upper door hinge while closing the driver's door, it does not honk fyi. Weird hack that I saw on a forum.

For real? You just want to see who tries if, no?
