Without history as a guide, I’d agree, but since they haven’t figured out the tan armrest on a tan interior in a decade, despite the obvious demand and benefit of not scorching owners, I’m not sure how much this offering will change as time passes.



Yep, looks great especially on rich exterior colours.

Now for the return of the DENIM interior.

This is the exact reason why I'm not selecting the leather option from Jeep!
Because their "leather interior" is ONLY seats, not door and dash trims.
For the price of their leather option, I can buy any color I want for the seats and have enough left over to do the doors and dash

Sahara offers matching stitching on the dashboard, armrests, steering wheel and shifter boots. I believe the inserts on the armrests and shifter knobs is leather as well; the dashboard is just hard plastic.

There are lots of caveats, though: you only get the matching dashboard with black leather; saddle gets the gray dashboard covers. Same with the matching stitching on the steering wheel, shifters and armrests: yay on black; nay on saddle. And this is true only of the regular Sahara leather interior; when you get the Mopar leather seats nothing matches.

You need a PhD to figure out all these mindless differences. Typical FCA nonsense.

I've been thinking about wrapping mine in woodgrain vinyl. The only reason I haven't done it yet is because I have to take apart half of the interior to get to those covers.

Ive got a hydro dip painted steering wheel trim and will install them this weekend. It will match w/ my wood dash. Stay tuned….

I'm with you. woodgrain is out of style. Adding on faux woodgrain is even worse and never looks good imo, even when it was in style 20 years ago.

Then on top of this adding fake woodgrain to a jeep. Its not a 25 year old Cadillac. Not a fan at all.
