The JL Tazer's instruction manual emphasizes the need for two sleep cycles whenever you make any changes in the "vehicle settings" (engine off) menu or you unmarry the Tazer.
Okay.
And to do so you're advised to select "reboot" from the JL Tazer menu and then perform two sleep cycles.
These sleep cycles are advised to effected by:
1) Turning the ignition off,
2) Opening and closing the driver’s door and waiting about 60 seconds AFTER the dash goes dark, then
3) Turning the ignition on (but not the engine) and repeating once more.
Just so I'm clear, repeating means then going back to my step 1 and turning the ignition off, right?
It seems obvious the way I've laid it out but the manual (page 6) leaves me a little curious if I got this right.
TIA
