question. Isn’t 4.75 backspacing put the tire closer to the frame of the vehicle? So 4.5” would give you more “stick out” and 3.5”even more?

I do believe you are correct. I didn't really want them sticking out too far from the fender. I do not rock climb here in Florida and the distance to the frame was not a concern for me. I can get a picture later this afternoon with how it sits with a better idea.

Those of ya'll with Bead Grip wheels, what do you think of them overall? Does it feel like something that's actually working, or just a gimmick?

How low are you running them?

In 3 years of running beadgrips and wheeling fairly regularly including Moab, I've never lost a bead.
I've watch videos of people airing beadgrips down into single digit numbers and then crawling rock and not lose a bead.
I've spoke with Method about the holding power of beadgrips and I'm convinced that short of a beadlock nothing holds a tire on the wheel as well as beadgrip.

MC 3.5 GC and no regear yet but it’s in the plans for the future. I’ll get a front view tomorrow.

I ordered the Mopar reinforcement from the factory. It's just OK. If I did it again, I'd look to the aftermarket.

Lots of folks like bumper mounted tire gates, and they're the gold standard in strength. But they're heavy and I'm trying to keep BlueJeep light as possible.

Terraflex looks good, but spendy.
