Hello guys, i got delivery of my new JLU Rubicon 3 days ago. Everything was running fine until this afternoon.
Had a long drive, mild off road but mostly pavement. Stopped to remove the freedom panels, and stored them in the boot (in their case). 5 minutes later then car start kicking at low speeds (10 miles approximately), i can only describe it as a misfire or the same thing as running out of fuel.
Few moments later the car stopped in the middle of the road. When i tried to restart it it was switching on and immediately off again.
No open door warning signs were on, but upon opening and closing drivers/passenger/boot door, locking the car and unlocking it the car started fine. Drove the car home with no issues whatsoever apart from the check engine light being on. Few hours later the check engine light disappeared. Will take it back to the dealership first thing tomorrow morning.
Note that the car is brand new and has only covered 200 miles.
Any idea what might have caused this?
Thanks,
Gio
