JL Mini Winch Mode

Just got a JL Mini and the winch mode and cooldown do not work. Fired off a note to Z and they are working on it.

Has anyone else had this problem with the Mini? Just me or just diesel owners?

I'm happy with the JL Mini but it DOES have a few little quirks in how it operates regarding button pushes, lag time, sometimes things works/sometimes things don't ie. Sway bar disconnect using the sway bar button...

It's a great little box but does not function 100%...I'd give it probably 90% to 95% functionality. It's a bit pricey considering the goofy things does. I understand "Product Improvement" but the Mini still seems to be in "Research and Development" phase.

Lemme' know it those functions work on yours...

I cannot remember off the top of my head, but once on the audio screen, I believe you have to hold in the right arrow on the left buttons, then press the Resume button on the right buttons. The screen will say Winch Mode and release the Resume button.

I think cruise control has to be off as well.

You probably already know this . The most important thing is to make sure to step through complete “reboot” process after changes.

My winch mode works fine, I use it all the time when I'm airing up (two compressors). I never tried cooldown mode.

I got a note back from Z and they said it is a know issue with the Mini on a diesel and they are working on it. They need to get in a diesel JL to make the changes though...Guess it's coming.
