I have the Tazer JL mini. When I stopped to air up the tires, I bumped up the idle by going into winch mode.
One odd thing I noticed: The idle dropped, then wound back up at least two separate times while I was airing up.
When I was done, I bumped the gas. That's how I usually cancel winch mode. No change. So then I dug through the menus. WINCH MODE: ON, I tried to set it to OFF, and got some warning about cruise not being available something something. It flashed by too quickly to read. I tried this a couple different times. No effect.
At this point, I just shut the engine off. It stayed off for awhile while I walked the dog around. Probably 15-20 minutes. When I fired the Jeep back up, the idle went right back up to 2,000. Crap!
I finally got the idle under control by doing a full reboot.
I'm pretty much scared to ever try using this thing again. It could have been user error. I'm definitely not super confident navigating the bizarre and hacky menu structure of this thing. From time to time, it gets stuck on "Updating..." and will sit there for 20 minutes if I let it. I have canceled that on multiple occasions. Maybe I have been introducing cumulative errors or something. This little plug-in dongle is useful, but very hacky. I don't like the user interface at all.
