JL Delivery Checklist

Figured it may be a good idea to isolate a single thread to find information on what should be coming with your new JL, as I’m sure some folks have gotten shafted already and not received all the little extras upon delivery. Not everyone knows that info, so here’s what I have gathered thus far (feel free to chime in and I’ll edit if I’m missing items):

1. Two sets of keys
2. Jeep mini ratchet set/Torx (for hardtop/windshield/doors)
3. Lugnut key (if you have locking lugs)
4. Freedom top storage bag (if equipped)
5. Carpet floor mats standard (but not if all season mats are equipped)
6. JL Wrangler Owners Manual/Warranty guide (may just be in your Jeep’s infotainment system only). Not 100%, but can be printed if requested directly through Jeep.
7. Jeep hitch receiver rubber insert (if trailer towing group is equipped)
8. Towing Pkg only: small baggie with tubing and splices.
9. Rubicon only: MOPAR Black Fuel Filler Door
10. Block heater option, you need to be sure you get the removable cord that is part of the block heater kit (and look under your hood for it if not in a separate bag)
11. Rear Cargo cubby rubber mat (on 4 door prior to 2022 only)
12. Rubber mats inside your center console
13. Velcro straps if you have a sun rider top
14. If you get the Trail Management Cargo System, the cargo compartment floor-mat is included
15. Trail Management Cargo System option should include 6 tie down blocks
16. XR specific: Jack extension block (orange in color)
17. 4XE specific: Level 1 Charger and carrying bag

Also, ensure you get registered for the “Jeep Wave Program” because your new JL will receive complimentary maintainence for a period of time, which is now 3 years/36 months!
ADDITIONALLY:

- Check fuse panel and ensure all fuses are pushed in

- Check welds

- inspect your top for damage

- Ensure all your flares match (have seen photos of one or two being painted and the others not)

CONFIRMED NOT INCLUDED:
Windshield tie downs

I thought the tie downs needed to be bought separately, good to know.

Don't forget the lug but for the spare. Someone said it's different from the others. Not sure thou

It’s been a million years, but do they still have the lugnut lock key?

I’ll wait and see what folks are saying. Haven’t taken delivery of mine yet, so hopefully JL owners will chime in and give me the skinny on those little details I missed

Lugnut key is in the glovebox - verified on my Sahara. windshield straps not included- optional accessory

Mike, I used your checklist when we purchased our Rubicon, every item was accounted for.

Are you sure you are supposed to get a receiver insert with the tow group? I have never had a receiver come with a new vehicle with the tow package including my '13 Rubicon. Bought new Fords and Rams...always get tow package and never got a insert?

Shane, I received the rubber receiver hitch cover that has "JEEP" on it, not a receiver insert.

Are you sure about number 6, user's manual? I got a User's Guide, not the manual. The manual is found online. Unless that is what you really meant.

My Hard Rock came with the cool little Red bag with the tow strap, D rings and gloves as part of the package. It's an option now. I might have to accidentally forget it when I sell

Does the spare come with a wheel lock? Must be something new since 2007. I've always had to buy the wheel locks separate.

In another thread, someone mentioned that they received a Rubicon without the gas cap cover! It is only standard on the Rubicon, so make sure that it is there.
