Add me to this list. My wife came home and said the radio is making a constant tone. Quick google search and here I am! Guess I will see if it goes away and will take to my dealer for a update if it doesn't? Very annoying and unacceptable.
UPDATE: After setting a few hours I drove the Jeep into...
I have the Lifetime Maxcare on my '18 JLUR......had a rear LED tail light fail.....dealer said it was going to cost me $640 to repair and that "bulbs" were not covered......after a little research on the internet I found out that LED's are not bulbs but a electrical component and called them...
Great news! I did a little research on the net and a guy had a similar situation with his Ram 1500. The warranty states it does not cover plastic parts or wear items in which light bulbs are not covered BUT a LED is not a light bulb therefore his dealer covered it. I called the service manager...
45k on my 2018 Rubicon and finally got around to taking it to the dealer so I can have my drivers side tail light (LED) replaced. No big deal, I have the Max Lifetime warranty so I took it in this morning so they could order one, figured they wouldn't have one in stock and they didn't. Just got...
They won't/didn't because I didn't say anything. I guess in hind sight I should have just to address a possible pencil whipping of the quality process? Jeep is crazy awesome and really enjoy driving it.
Here's my story.....This photo was taken by me at the Jeep plant after it was built (obviously) in the quality audit room. I work for FCA at a nearby plant and we had a salaried person from my plant transfer to Toledo Assy (Jeep) and happens to be a quality manager. Through him I was able to go...
I haven't been on here in a while and I don't know if this sheds any light but we have been shipping these engines to Toledo Assy like crazy. I know they had some issues with the 48 volt batteries catching fire so that is probably another thing holding these up? Don't know anything else but...
Sorry for slow reply, haven't been on much. I am all stock, road manners are good....I would say better than my '13 Rubicon. Have a little darting tendency depending on the road. By that I mean it's rutted from the semi's in the slow lane, other than that this thing is perfect! My other Jeep did...
I decided to live with it also but JEEPCARES on this site did contact me and offer to start a claim but I really don't think there is much they can do so I opted not to pursue it. Not that big of deal, I just wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing it.
I can say that I feel your pain but from my experience just stay the course.....these new JL's are absolutely awesome! My wife now has 8400 miles full of smiles..... Your Jeep will come
Yes, I went over it and checked everything! All is good and tight, I need a little more seat time. Will be taking it off road in a couple weeks so I will put it through it's paces and see how it is!
This is a great description and was/is what I experienced. Jeep cares did contact me and want to start a case but I put it on the car lift and inspected everything and everything is tight and where it's supposed to be and it really isn't that big of deal which is why I chose not to pursue it for...
My partner went to Trenton and all he said is the engine sleeves were cracking on the dyno but he is a maintenance man so it's all just kinda here say.
Hate to burst you guys bubble anymore but talked to a guy on the dock and we now have over 18,000 on the floor and more coming.....don't see any going out though???? I spent all day yesterday moving equipment off a dock area to make room for more. We are running out of floor space! Don't know...
