You will get the storage bag that fits both of the freedom tops. It's standard with the hard top.

I thought this was included with that top ..........might be wrong then

That doesn’t make sense. The 3 piece freedom hardtop is just that 3 pieces. 2 front and the back is one whole piece.
My bad - I was watching some Tubes and saw the (power top) has two removable side windows ...assumed that was new with all hardtops

Would be nice though

Edit: Spotted in the manual that those equipped with aux switches in the towing group, you'll also have a little baggie of shrink tubing and splices. I remember the sales rep almost throwing the little baggie away thinking their guys in back left it in the truck by accident.
Hopefully the OP edits 1st post and adds the above. I saw it in the online manual as well. Only comes with the tow/aux package.

Ours was missing the piece in back that the hardtop wiring and wiper fluid hose clips into when the top is off.

Where is everyone finding the tool kit? I've checked the glove box, rear cubby hole and console but no tool kit.

The sales guy handed mine to me, but he was moving things around in the trunk. There were a handful of things in plastic wrappers in the trunk so I think mine was laying there with everything else. Not trying to sound condescending, but did you check both center console areas? Or possible back where the jack is stored (which would be very odd, but worth a check).

I've had my JLU Rubi for a week now and read a lot of the posts here over last couple days. I've thoroughly checked and I did not receive any strap/straps for the windshield. I have the towing package with 4 aux switches and did not receive the 'baggie of shrink tubing and splicing' mentioned in a previous post. Lastly, my Rubi does not have the fuel filler door.

From what I've seen (and is far from anything "official") the windshield straps do not come with the vehicle, you should have received the shrink tubing (the sales guy almost threw mine out thinking it was trash from the service/prep area), and Rubi's are for sure supposed to have fuel doors. Might be time to call up your sales rep!

The little baggie of shrink wrap is basically crap... You do want to be sure you got/get the rubber JEEP logo hitch receiver plug as that is worth $13.00+. The straps are worth a few bucks.. The tool kit is worth $13+-. The fOEM fuel door is $100+ and Jeep advertises you get the fuel door with the Rubicon..

IF you go to the General Sales Manager at the selling dealership and speak up and calmly, politely, push lets say he will undoubtedly come up with the stuff, or instruct the Parts Dept. to get it for you at no cost. GSM will do and remember he is doing you no favor.. You paid $ for X so demand for all of X !

By the way, early on... right after purchase Mopar/Jeep will send a survey to you the purchaser, regarding your purchase experience, delivery experience with the dealership you purchased from......

Dealerships are extremely concerned about your comments on that survey and willl do most anything to have you give them a high rating/perfect rating.

Their standing with Mopar/Jeep, what they get from Mopar/Jeep down the road, can be impacted very negatively if you generate a poor survey, etc..

In your conversation with the GSM, if you feel he is not doing you right say to him/her, ok, I will mention my dissatisfaction in my survey. I can tell you he will undoubtedly change his tune with you. I actually have have had GSM's give me add-ons worth lots of $ for my promise to give them a glowing review/survey.

Another point.. if your dealership does you bad, and you can't get it remedied, go to their Face Book page and post a small, to the point, non-threatening, well word Face Book review stating how they wronged you. Can tell you that it will be in very short order that soon after posting you will get a reply or phone call with the dealership wanting to right the situation and having you remove/edit the review.

I was just making up a checklist (this list and packages I ordered) when I realized the cold weather group comes with an engine block heater. And that heater should come with a cord to plug in. You may want to add that to the checklist.

Yes, if your JL has the Cold Weather Group option, you need to be sure you get the removable cord that is part of the block heater kit.

Get your fuel filler door then. That is standard on Rubicon
