JL cluster needle removal

I need to replace my clusters 7" screen and the clusters needles need to be removed. Is there a video on how, do i need a removal tool?

You know i dont even know if i have to remove the needles? Im replacing the screen, do i remove it from the back?

I've never done it myself, I just remembered seeing that video on youtube once lol

Just make note of their position and pull them up from the center, then just line them up in the proper position and press down on the center. There is a tool to remove them but you could use a trim tool from Harbor Freight.
