Digital gas gauge vs. traditional needle gauge -- difference between trims/models?

While looking to purchase new - I noticed some panels have the Digital gas gauge and where others have the traditional needle gauge. Is there a trim package that determines this?

I think it was the audio package. The standard radio with no electric door locks came with the needle.

Yes, the base Sport has the needle gauges, the Sport S and up have the digital gauges.

If memory serves, the digital dash screen gets paired with the upgraded infotainment screen. It's because of certain features that are linked between the 2 screens, such as navigation. The infotainment screen will show the map and your location, and the dash screen illustrates the approach to each step along the way. Turns, merges, etc.

Thanks, that is interesting information. All of the Base Sports I have seen have had the basic 5” radio, your explanation makes a lot of sense.
