How much, if any, larger is the new housing/light? Any issues there?
It fits right over the wiper motor just like the factory cover and screws in so there shouldn't be any issues with sizing. You can see this in the install video in the original post if you want to take a look!

Tips or a write up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
This was easier than I thought. I got the idea from another owner and I'd like to give him credit, but I can't remember his name. It may have been on one of the Brawlee cargo light threads.

I ran the wire for the light inside the cover... pry it off gently with a panel-tool thingy. Don't He-Man it off... you can snap the tabs. No exposed wire.

I used a fish tape starting from here... it slides in & up and pulls the wire through fairly smoothly...there's a little bit of resistance on the way back down, but don't yank it. I wouldn't recommend a wire hanger... it's too rigid & certainly not flexible when you push upwards.

Secured to the existing harness

Plenty of room for the additional wire

Which Posi-taps did you use and what did you tap them into? Trying to get everything ordered at once so I can get it done without 5 runs to Home Depot!

Seconding this question - can you elaborate a bit on the taps and what you tapped into?

@psdtime has it right... That's what I did, and those are what I used. Some 12-gauge wire & you'll have all you need.

I would assume that the switch is optional, correct? Doesn't the Oracle light have its own push button?

Yes... the switch is optional... it's a kill switch so the power isn't 'always on.' The power buttons are on the light itself. One for the actual light, another for a flashing red.

Are the lighted buttons on the light housing always on? Is that why you decided to put the kill switch? Seems like a good addition to stop the constant draw of the lights.
