I have only one suggestion, and I promise you its a good one ... get a Sunrider for hardtop. I used to be just like you wishng there were more soft accessories out there. My Sunrider is the best thing since sliced bread! I love it.

This is just my .02 but I'm not willing to drop $800 on a top that is utilizing the hard top staying on.

For my needs/(and yes wants) the bikini/tonneau cover set up is perfect.

I'll just tough it out with a sunshade and pack a rain cover for now. Plus I have a hoist to make putting hard top on and off much easier than my TJ past.

Hello,
Thank you contacting us. We are working to get the products out for the JL's. For the Bikini and the Duster Deck cover would towards the spring or summer this year.

Bestop, Inc

Blah,blah,blah
Why make a bikini top or duster cover for a hundred fifty bucks when you can sell everyone else with the old zipper style soft tops when you can sell them the new jl style soft top for $1,300! It's All About the Benjamins!

But the whole point of this thread is taking the hardtop and doors off. The sunrise is for use with the top on. So it's not an option.

I am trying to tough it out too. I don't want to spend the money on a full soft top as it will only be used during warm months. However, I want to be able to go completely topless, I have kids that want to have the "jeep" feel and honestly bestop isn't much cheaper than OEM soft top. I searched around yesterday and Suntop supposedly has one out or coming out I'm not sure. With a quick search on there site, of course the only dealer in the states is Extreme Terrain. I don't have a lot of experience with them but from the forums a lot of other members have issue with them saying they have stuff but really don't. E/T shows nothing on there website for Suntop. I sent an email to Suntop requesting more information. Attached are the photos and link to there website. I just want an inexpensive top that able to come off with ease and not having to plan ahead for top or no top days.

I met these guys at SEMA and talked to them about their top. I think it's going to be an awesome product. to me, this top is the perfect solution because it can go full topless very easily, and it also gives you the option of doing the fast back or the cargo top (the one with the tonneau). Both use the same top piece, so you could just buy both sets for the back and have the option of switching back and forth with relative ease.

production has just been taking longer than expected. I've been on their pre-order list for a couple months now, and I know I'm far from alone. last week, they said they expected to have a run of JL unlimited tops available at the end of this week. fingers crossed that happens and that they can sell one to me.

if this works out, I'll certainly be posting photos and impressions.

Yeah I’m in communication with them. The website says it’s for JL unlimited
How did you get them to respond? Will they have a reseller in the U.S.?
