You need what your profile name is dumbass!Nope, MOAB's are the red headed Jeep stepchildren. We never get tired of picking on you!
Seems like you have a case of... w a i t f o r i t ... w a i t ... f o r ... i t ... Altitude Attitude!Maybe this is a thread that could stay away from the Moab v Rubicon issue. Just talk shit on the Altitude.

I'll wait for the Wrangler Trailhawk.Maybe this is a thread that could stay away from the Moab v Rubicon issue. Just talk shit on the Altitude.
Or the 707HP Wrangler Trackhawk, which Rubicon owners will still mock because it will be Sahara based.I'll wait for the Wrangler Trailhawk.
Yup yupOr the 707HP Wrangler Trackhawk, which Rubicon owners will still mock because it will be Sahara based.

Fair point...let me rephrase it...it’s just a customer preferred package with black accents and wheels. Cause I’ve got the customer preferred package on mine and those are the only differences...That package starts as a base Sport model, so everything listed under "Altitude Package" are things a Sport wouldn't normally have.
That's what every special edition is.Fair point...let me rephrase it...it’s just a customer preferred package with black accents and wheels. Cause I’ve got the customer preferred package on mine and those are the only differences...
Ah - gotcha. Well that is dumb then!Fair point...let me rephrase it...it’s just a customer preferred package with black accents and wheels. Cause I’ve got the customer preferred package on mine and those are the only differences...
This is true...another fair point. Lol!That's what every special edition is.
Well, at least they don't have to pull out the grille and bumper inserts and painting them black, saves about 4 hours of labor and a can of spray paint, and a couple of broken brackets, I'd say that's a win.Fair point...let me rephrase it...it’s just a customer preferred package with black accents and wheels. Gives you about a 4 hr head start and maybe $100 rebate to your journey on modding it into a Moab. This version of the Altitude doesn't even include special edition leather seats. Why does this exist?
That's one reason I went with a Moab instead of a Sahara - I personally don't like the chrome so I would have blacked it out somehow.Well, at least they don't have to pull out the grille and bumper inserts and painting them black, saves about 4 hours of labor and a can of spray paint, and a couple of broken brackets, I'd say that's a win.
Did some quick Googling - it's pretty consistent with other Jeep models that have an Altitude trim level (GC, Compass and Renegade are they ones I found). Don't know that I'd call it a "Special Edition" without a little more to it.This version of the Altitude doesn't even include special edition leather seats. Why does this exist?
I notice you didn't compare it to the JK wrangler, which is the most obvious direct comparison.Did some quick Googling - it's pretty consistent with other Jeep models that have an Altitude trim level (GC, Compass and Renegade are they ones I found).
