If you do decide to run them, make sure they are high quality, hub-centric spacers. Make sure to use loctite and check the torque on the nuts every time you rotate tires. If they are lose, pull the nuts, clean them up, re-loctite, and re-torque. As long as you maintain them properly, they should...
Supposedly it is to ensure fresh, oxygenated air gets circulated into the cabin occasionally. I believe it only does it on the recirculate setting (can’t remember for sure), but apparently Jeep feels that removable tops and doors are super airtight…
You don’t even need the Chinese gizmo…all you need is another $60k to buy a 2024 model with the UConnect 5 12.3” infotainment package! Lol!
There are several parameters the computer checks before engaging Auto Park. The main two with doors on is door shut and seat belt buckled. Two main with the doors off is front seat weight sensor and seat belt buckled. If you want more info on the system, check your owner’s manual.
Depends on if you are in the auto setting on the climate controls. When in auto, it will cycle on and off as well as switch between heat and a/c to maintain the set temperature. When not in auto, it just mixes air and sends it out the vent at the set temperature. At least that’s the intent…...
This will only work if you don’t squirm in the seat too much…with the doors off, the system uses the weight sensor in the seat along with the seatbelt sensor. There are other conditions that come into play as well…it’s all in the owners manual…
Oh I completely agree…it does take a lot of the stress away. But as you said…you have to be careful using it in such a manner. As long as you are paying attention to what is happening around you and you understand that Jeep won’t hold the breaks for you, then you should be ok…people just have to...
Adaptive cruise is not meant for stop-and-go driving, winding roads, roads with steep hills, complex driving situations, or adverse conditions. Really you wouldn’t want any type of cruise control through any of these conditions, but depending on the situation, winding roads and steep hills would...
Not a soft top owner, but I believe those are to hold the back window open when you have it rolled up. I’m sure someone will be able to confirm what they are…
More than likely...you can thank the EPA for your rev hang woes. Many manufacturers program a bit of rev hang to help with emissions...it’s kind of like the auto stop...it doesn’t save much each time it does it, but once you’ve added up all of the times it does it and all of the vehicles on the...
You are correct...the track bars are the same across trim levels. But the track bar travels in an arc and the longer springs move the axel away from the frame vertically. So as your track bar travels down it’s arc, the bolt holes on the axel mount and track bar will now be slightly off...not too...
Not sure what manual revision you have, but it is in my 2018 manual and it should be 8.8 in/lbs...not foot lbs...
EDIT: that math doesn’t add up. 12 N-m is equal to 8.8 ft/lbs...not sure what is going on there...
Pretty sure every new manual Jeep just has the software update...could be wrong though. It’s really nothing to worry about...at least in my opinion. Every manufacturer limits the output of their engines to some degree for the sake of reliability and longevity of parts. You’ll likely never know...
Not a problem! Glad it was an easy fix! It’s kind of weird but i guess it makes sense so that your radio isn’t blasting when someone hangs up. I think a lot of manufacturers are going to something like that. Both my wife’s Silverado and my F150 at work operate in a similar manner.
Try turning up the volume on the radio when the phone is ringing. The phone volume for calls and text reading is only adjustable during the time that Siri is reading your text or the phone is ringing. It’s probably something simple like this...
Not sure what brand you have, but if they are Metalcloak, you should give them a call because I’m sure they can help. They have new arms for their skids for the 2021s...
If I remember right, I was told that the 2021s use the same motor mounts as the Gladiators.
