I just purchased a JKS track bar and was going to have it installed. Reason for the purchase was to get slightly better handling on the highway. If I install this track bar will it create undo stress on other parts such as ball joints since it's stiffer than the OEM. My vehicle is a 22 Sport Altitude stock height.

An upgraded track bar should not cause any issues. Many members have upgraded the track bar prior to getting a lift. Just make sure it has a minimum length that can be used on a stock height JLU.

To answer your question, no. I’ve been running the JKS trackbar for a while now and have had zero issues. Also, “slightly better handling” is subjective, so be specific with what your are experiencing and what you are trying to accomplish.

The jeep wanders slightly on the highway which makes driving somewhat of a chore. I adjusted the steering box (cast iron) and it helped but it's still a pain to track straight, in other words there is a constent input needed from the steering wheel.

Two suggestions I recommend, and if you’ve already done these then disregard. 1. Check you alignment. 2. Check your air pressure. Best of luck.

Sal, that sounds like a normal JL ? Are you running mud tires? That may accentuate the situation. At a minimum, with MTs you have to hold towards the crown of the road. It is normal.

I adjusted the tire preassure already and had an alignment. It drives pretty good but a slight wander, that's why I asked about the track bar, if it would tighten it up a bit more. The tires are stock bridgestone duellers. My 2018 drove perfectly but my tires were Michelins

Get some Mopar lift lcas and put them on… they’ll make a difference…..they look exactly like stock so no worries about voiding warranty… techs can’t tell the difference unless they look up serial number, and what tech is ever gonna do that…?

If they could incorporate a rack and pinion it would tighten up the steering
