It’s definitely the straight six, those things ran for 200-300k all day. Let me know when your 392 crosses the 300k threshold and we can talk.

I still voted for diesel though because I’m biased ?

Engines are like a box of chocolate you’ll never know what you are gonna get. I went with a 3.6 because I read so much into what is reliable and the engine took a dump after 50k. Anyone who says it’s this or that is most reliable either has never had an issue or just straight bias lol. I’m not hating on the 3.6 I loved the engine but I take these kind of threads with a grain of salt.

and I am also only posting to just to follow and see the bickering.

anyway

3.6 was great and is probably best fit to run on the jeep

2.0t is fun and peppy to drive and still gets the job done

v8 is a straight up monster and would love to own one but I’m poor and can’t own one lol.

I think most folks are missing the fact that it was the 3.8 that ushered in success for Jeep by helping get a minivan on the trails... Nobody thought they could do it, but then they went and brought out the JKU and I'll be damned if that butched up Grand Caravan didn't sell like hotcakes
