As other said... use until it dies and replace with H7. Also bypass the aux at that time unless you have eTorque.

This is an unlikely concern, unless you leave your wrenches or rolls of aluminum foil there.
I should have mentioned I live by the ocean and take my jeep on the beach every day so we get a lot of sand and dirt in our engines and moisture from the sea. Our battery terminals corrode faster than other places, unless you live in a state that uses a lot of salt on their roads. It takes about ten seconds to keep your battery clean. I have 100000 miles on one of my vehicles and you could eat off the engine compartment. Never had a battery problem since I turned crazy haha.

I am still running stock batteries in my 2018 jl. 7 years and going strong. I do use a noco battery smart tender every time I pull into my garage
So you charge your battery every time you park in your garage? Maybe I’m in the minority here but you should not have to charge the battery every time you use your Jeep..

😂😂 a couple of years on a Jeep battery…
2021 model here still going strong...probably going to replace it before the year is out just to be on the safe side.
In the north east with our normal winters.

I switched to this Walmart battery a couple of years ago. Four-year warranty, 850 CCA, stores (support) everywhere.

2 JLs and a JT, 150k miles between the 3...1 battery replacement. All 3 had winches that got used hard. Not sure what you guys are doing to your batteries, but it's like the visor failures in my opinion. Mostly user error...
If i switch maine battery do I have change my 2nd battery let's say main battery i put 850 cca and its good for lighting n winch which one u recommend?

If you are going to stick with 2 batteries, both batteries should be changed at the same time. This is not a jeep thing; it is due to the science of connecting 2 batteries in parallel. As far as connecting the 2 batteries in a Jeep. both batteries should be AGM and both batteries should be the same place in their life cycle (new). The CCA (cold cranking amps) measurement is one where you just want to have enough (or as much as you can).

...the Jeep is the first vehicle I've ever owned in over 40 years that I didn't get at least 5 years out of a battery.
Same! My OEM H6 AGM battery failed at four years, almost to the day. It cranked the engine just fine the evening prior, and was dead as a doornail the next morning. I replaced it with an Interstate H7 AGM that same day, isolating the ESS battery at the same time. The new battery spins the starter with reassuring speed.

The Jeep's original battery was the first 12V battery that I've used, in any application, that didn't provide at least a 5 year service life (my personal standard for such batteries.) Ah, well. These things happen.

The science of connecting 2 batteries in parallel says they should be the same size as well... and we wonder why we dont get the same life out of the main battery as we may be used to? Fortunately 2 out of 3 of our Jeeps have been etorque so the aux killing the main hasn't been an issue. When the main in my JT goes I'll delete the aux to eliminate the poor OEM design.

I'd delete the aux when changing out the main. Plenty of threads on here about how to do it.
