That road looks pretty straight though, what was up with the hard turn and hard acceleration?
Sounds like death wobble. No wonder they want to void .....

Define “hard” , and who/what is interpreting the definition ? Heck, to me the 4 & 6 cyl Wranglers are incapable of “hard” acceleration. That road looks pretty straight though, what was up with the hard turn and hard acceleration?
I know on mine it tags me at the end of my 'trip' pulling in to my normal parking spot at work, it is on an end spot and I come in from the lane behind it and pull around a telephone pole and then back in to the spot. It tags as hard cornering and hard braking even though I'm doing maybe 2MPH. It tags when I stop in my driveway also. I have had it tag other times when I've accelerated quickly or had to hit the brakes because a deer or something runs out in front of me, so it does see somethings correctly. The tagging isn't Android or Carplay specific, it is in the Jeep app. I think it was added on 2024 MY. I don't remember seeing it in the app on my 2018, 2019 or 2023 Wranglers that I had. Was going to pull one up to show the screenshot, but it is saying not available for some reason.Which nav were you using? I drive like an 80 year old lady that's falling asleep with a cat in her lap and I'm curious if it'd tag me or if you drive harder than you think you do.
Define "hard" and "long"?Define “hard” , and who/what is interpreting the definition ? Heck, to me the 4 & 6 cyl Wranglers are incapable of “hard” acceleration.
IE - define a “long” trip? To me it was driving from Vancouver island straight home to central Ca….. My wife was B I itching about it from about Portland![]()

Where do you think the Jeep app gets its data from? Not using the app doesn't magically make the data go away.Isn't the solution easy...just don't use the Jeep app?
Or is this crap built into the head unit on the new ones now?
I've never used it on either of the Jeep vehicles I've owned in the past 5 years. What am I missing?
It works for ostriches...Where do you think the Jeep app gets its data from? Not using the app doesn't magically make the data go away.
The problem is to get the Alpine you have to get the Nav in the Rubicon and Sahara, I think only the Sport S and Willys you can get the Alpine system without the Uconnect junk. The app I have doesn't have a travel history feature. Is that only for models with nav? TBH, this type of stuff is why I factory ordered. I only got the stuff I wanted, which was very little. I don't even have Sirius XM radio in mine. Heck, I wouldn't even have power doors and windows if it weren't the only way to get the factory LEDs on mine.
Disconnect the LTE antennas instead. See this thread: https://www.jeep392.com/threads/where-is-the-telematics-box-on-a-2022-392.4303/to answer my own question, no the built in gps stops working when this plug is pulled. Steering and speed keeps you on course for maybe ten minutes, then it goes bonkers. Need to find a way to pass thru the gps in and out cables, which are the two connectors on the other end.
