Pretty much any vehicle that is popular, or in demand, is seeing the same price increases. My 2022 Ram TRX had an MSRP of $85K when I ordered it. When it showed up 10 months later the MSRP had increased to $92K. The same truck, on the dealer lot now, as a 2023 model, has an MSRP of $101K.

People need to stop buying (like I have any room to talk) 🙄

If I made and sold a product I would charge as much as I possibly could for it.

However, as a consumer, I look for better deals. I skipped the factory steel bumpers and rock rails because I was able to buy better items for less money aftermarket. I think I would do the same with LEDs now.

This stinks. I hope everyone who has ordered before these price hikes is working with a dealership that sticks to the agreed upon price at the time of order submission. My 2023 went up in price $2000 just for the auto transmission between time of ordering and delivery. The dealership put it in writing and we both signed and agreed upon the price of the Jeep and my trade-in at the time of order submission. No changes to price could be made, except for applicable discounts and incentives at time of delivery. I didn't even have to initiate that. My salesman brought me the price guarantee page voluntarily and we both signed. The moral of the story is this: Use a good, small, reputable dealership.

Actual video from within Stellantis headquarters setting the monthly Wrangler price increases.

And when it stopped...

In September I factory ordered a Sahara 4xe with all of the technology and safety options and it arrived at my dealer in 5 weeks. (Yes weeks).
I'm jealous. I wonder if it's because they were prioritizing 4xe's late last year because they weren't sure how the tax credit would work after 2022 ended.

I ordered my Willys in February and it was delivered in July.

It's a jungle out there. My wife and I with 800+ credit score "qualified" for 6.24% interest recently. I laughed and asked who I make the check out to.
Smart. Unless you can get some factory interest incentive that cannot be offset by a price discount, pay cash.

I noticed that Punk'n is now available on the configurator, but most of the options packages jumped 20-25% since last week!

Makes me glad I ordered when I did. The cost of my build has gone up $4100 since July.
This is the option hike on just the Sport S trim:

Advanced Safety: $945 to $1195
Cold Weather Group: $1195 to $1095 (weird)
Safety Group: $1145 to $1395
LED Lights: $1295 to $1495
Convenience Group: $795 to $995
Sun and Sound Package: $4290 to $5395
Trailer Tow HD Electrical: $995 to $1195

Yikes.
the trailer tow on my 2021 was $795, exterior paint was $245, 850RE & v6 w eTorque $1500/each

I understand that the price of things goes up - that's just how it works.

But $1.8K for an LED package on a $40K+ vehicle is just a massive middle finger from FCA to consumers.

Everything else I get - steel bumpers, safety sensors and whatnot, etc. But those LEDs are just offensive.
