I carry this one. 21" tall, very safe, a little bulky but it fits in a small storage tote. I paid $27 for it. They've about trippled in price.

The sprinter can jack will fit in the factory location with a little trimming. I cut a notch in the body and trimmed the base of the jack a bit to get it to sit all the way down. I fit all the tools needed to change a tire, the jack, and 2 ratchet straps in there. Also lined tub with rubber and packed it in foam to keep anything from moving around.

I keep a small bottle jack in there too. Perfect fit, its been 2 years it hasn't leaked a drop yet.

Even Jeep says you have to have a block if you have 35" tires.
I wasn't sure if my Jeep that I bought used even has a jack and in the process of looking to see where the jack should be stored I found a video by Mopar that states you need a block if you have 35" tires. I have been carrying a bottle jack from HF plus a few scraps of 2x4 if I needed some additional height. Most places where I go would have plenty of convenient rocks too.

I know the general rule of thumb is to store hydraulic jacks upright to prevent leaking. I couldn't resist storing mine in the convenient storage area. It's been over 2 years, no leaks. I carry 3 jacks.
