Looks like it was overloaded for one as that is a totally different failure mode than the recalled item & 2 I would trust anything posted on YahBlew!

Its all the same so-called "reporting" blown out of proportion and exagerated by the media. I dont buy it for a second, you make your own choice.

I have this Daytona but I got it to use with my Mustang since its low profile:

Its a great jack for the $ as I also have a USA made Hein Werner that cost 3X as much.
For the Jeep I think I'd go with this one due to its longer reach and more height:

Don’t know if this has been posted already or not. But I ran across this thread and went out to check my 3 ton jack stands. I was looking at buying the 6 ton stands just for the additional height and peace of mind.

My 3 ton stands were part # 56372 (not the recalled ones). Did a search and found you can still exchange them if you were concerned. I returned mine and got $29.99 store credit toward the 6 ton stands
