It's true. I get much more attention in my CJ than I do in the JLUR and it's even a 4xe with bright blue tow hooks.

My insecurities run deep. Sold my JK in prep for my dream machine. 2 months in and the withdrawal is real. Will I ever drive a Jeep again?? :surprised:

Sounds more like you have a roommate than a wife. I never understood that. I also have to question if the OP actually owns a Jeep Wrangler. Sounds more like an owner of a use Renegade.

I suggest buying an axe, now hear me out, growing a beard, buying a couple flannel button up shirts, get a load of un split wood delivered to the house, then have the wife bring out a cold beer while splitting wood in with his shirt un buttoned with his beard blowing in a gentle breeze with the Jeep playing music in the background. If this doesn't work. He will at least feel better from the exercise and have some split wood.

Note, I am no expert.

I.H. should bring back the Scout. Get back in the game.
Ford already did that for IH/Navistar. Looks a whole lot like a Scout and less like an early Bronco.

Hello everyone-
Lately I've been having these emotional ruts. I think it's related to the jeep.
I find myself driving around town and my car is just lost in the crowd.

The handsome full bearded guy in the sup'd up 4runner doesn't even do a double take.
I feel like they used to? But maybe the cruel reality is that they never did.
The bros in the new Broncos don't even seem to acknowledge me and my rig. It makes me feel like I'm driving a prius - small.
The only guy that gives me the time of day is the old gentleman in the stock YJ. But it's just really a simple grandfatherly wave.

My wife and I haven't been intimate in months.
Maybe that has something to do with it, but I feel like I should have sprung on the 37 inch tires and 3 inch lift.
$100k all in on a JLU would probably make me feel better. That's probably the sweet spot.

Or maybe I'll just get a $100k Bronco and then all the guys will start looking again?
37 inch tires would've definitely gotten me laid. Sigh.

In the meantime, I'll just stick some Maxtrax and a shovel to the side of my jeep, turn on my fog lights, and drive around looking for some eye contact.

Anyone else feel this way?
It'll be ok, brother. Get some big rubbers with massive lugs, and put them on fake beadlocks. Put in an angry eyes grill and mount a fake M2 .50 cal on the roof. Have the entire rig sprayed with grey bedliner. Wear desert camo at all times, with tactical hikers and a shemagh from eBay.

NOW people will look at you. DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT! Treat them with contempt. They have not been where you've (apparently) been, or seen what you've (allegedly) seen.

Oh, about your wife...sell her in the marketplace

You poor soul. That's what you get for buying a BMW X3 :(

I saw a Jeep the other day that had a Hi-Lift conspicuously mounted. But it looked like it was sporting the factory plastic bumpers and it had no rock rails. So, no place to use the jack, basically.
Obviously they're just using the hi lift for it's super practical winching abilities, 6" at a time. Duh.
