Some of the Bronco's plastic interior looks more like Playskool. Apparently design elements also.

Now I was all set to finally order one... but the highly advised white interior wasnt available. I thought the streamline appearance was hot. Now I have learned it feels cheap and lightweight.... not as impressive as the photos. I ordered a dedender 110 and its dash is similar to the broncos imo. Obvs I got the jeep... and im thrilled.... the good thing abt jeep dropping the detail balls is that theres a hundred ➕ ways to personalize (and improve) the appearance. So maybe a perfectly adorned stock jeep would just encourage more "non jeep" type buyers - that dont wave - and huge sightings of identical jeeps... wow rambled there... my bad. Back to tagging rubber duckies.

I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this (sorry…haven’t read everyone’s comments!), but repainting your interior trim pieces is quite easy to do yourself. Repainting my trim pieces will probably be the first thing I do to personalize my new Jeep!
I have said Im going to paint my dash on the last 3 jeeps... i finally got the removal tools... i just feel like ripping off the dash... is just so personal and mean?!? Idk. But im dying to do it! So scared too!

Omg NO YOU DIDNT! i just bought plain ones! Well crap. Looks like I will be leaving 2 keyhole covers on soneones jeep. Is that weird? Like I buy soooo much jeep stuff that I change my mind about when it arrives ... so I just leave whatever it is, sometimes a graphic or side turn lights- on appropriate jeeps with a lil message "extra parts shouldnt go to waste! Keep it or pass it along, friend." But yahhhhh I NEED THOSE! ☘

For years now jeep designers have dropped the ball. I don’t work and have no plans to work but for jeep I would reconsider bc they seriously need someone who isn’t color blind and is coherent to handle their “lipstick” department.

It started going downhill when jeep had the brilliant idea that a red dash would be loved by all and match all the rubi exterior colors. It didnt. Now you can get gecko with that red dash. Like wtf Jeep. Jeep’s styling has become halfassed at best. No effort. No thought. My 392 didn’t even get the 392 tailgate badge, for some idiot threw on the standard jl badge like I wouldn’t notice, and it happened on MANY 392’s. Jeep also decided to put a matte chrome ring all over the place on the dash and gear shift, but leaves the empty indentation around the cup holder less than 1 inch away from the gear shift. If you aren’t familiar with the 392, it was detailed in a gold bronze color. But again Jeep failed and used multiple colors that don’t even match. The gold wheels are mostly platinum. The 392 s gold bronze. The shocks are gold. The rubi lettering is outlined in brownish bronze. The stitching on the seats is a tan orange and Jeep didnt even try to incorporate one of their many gold bronze colors in the interior minus the thread fail. It seems with every additional model Jeep throws at us, they forget about attention to detail. They just throw shit at the jeep and see what sticks. Given the amount of options, we could be ordering some badassed looking stock Jeep’s if only Jeep was “a la cart” instead of no choice within model.

but really
HIRE ME BECAUSE YOUR STYLIST IS COLORBLIND, LAZY, AND IS CRAP. even high I could do
a better job bc I learned how to match colors in kindergarten.

AND NO ONE WANTS THAT STUPID “UNLIMITED” decal. In fact. Delete all decals it would make my life easier bc I wouldn’t have to remove them all….

but geez I love Jeep’s…. Especially my 9th one… the 392! Kicks ass.
You’re an angry little elf. Lol.

@Jjirish

I like / enjoy gifting such things to the Techs., GM, SM, Salespeople at the nearby Jeep dealership that own their own JL/JT, Wrangler.... they have always dealt with me properly lets say / had my back...

I know they appreciate the goodies...., and I know they will show/tell other JL/JT owner's about the terrfic say keyhole covers, goodies ... whatever they were gifted for their own ride...

It's also my way of letting them know I acknowledge and appreciate them.

For your hubby... buy him this style ...

Yeah i dont even enjoy the garlishly bright red and green during the holidays.... its just too much! Sarge green.... you lucky ducky! Love that green..
I am sorry but I will say my 3 cents (Extra Penny). Part of the Rubicon is the Red accents including the Red Dash. Kind of sets it apart from the other Jeeps. Everyone has their own opinion but if you don't like the Rubicon Red then why buy it. I bought the Sahara with the Black Leather Dash so wouldn't peel it off and paint it Sting Grey to match Jeep.

I bought my Rubicon for what it is. The Red accent sets it apart so damn sure not removing what sets it apart.

My 26 old daughter saw picture of my Rubicon I sent her and said OMG what's with the red dash. Then she came over and totally changed her view point after seeing the Red accents that sets it off.

I do not mean to disrespect anyone but to me buying a Rubicon and not liking the red dash and to paint it does not make sense. Buy another Jeep other than the Rubicon.

I am sure I will be slammed for my view but so be it. :whew:

I love good, friendly arguments. ?

I personally got the Rubicon for the beefier axles, sway bars disconnects, etc, and not for aesthetic purposes that sets my Jeep apart from other trims. I don’t care if anyone knows if I have a Rubicon or not driving down the road. I was thinking of removing the red Rubicon stickers on the hood (red and Sarge green simply don’t match IMO), but after I received my Ballistic wheels that have a red center cap (didn’t notice this when ordering) I’m actually kind of digging the red and green theme now and might not even paint the interior trim pieces!

When I'm off road, my attention is not on how good the jeep looks color wise, ect. That could be dangerous. But again, to the gentleman's point, in my opinion, it's just another opportunity to modify the jeep to the unique style I desire. Question? What does "Unlimited" actually refer to anyhow?

Setting aside ever feature that makes the Rubicon the Beast it is. The Red accent does set it apart and has nothing to do about taking care of off-road.

I am not saying painting dash is wrong just will not understand. I would think its not easy to do and unless its professional done will not look very good. Lot goes into making painted surface nice.

I would assume unlimited goes with the 4-door.

Another point I see out there is buying Jeep parts from companies you want to buy from. I installed spiderweb seat belt silencers and one person jumped on it said cut the white thread to pull the name off. Why would I do that when I bought that product from company that is well known and should be seen. I guess I am just old school.
