Unfortunately I think that's it, which is pretty lame. I read somewhere that it was supposed to allow you to lock the rear diff in 4H but that is not the case. It would be awesome if it did though.
Good god, this subject. The manual transmission is fantastic and drives beautifully. I didn’t bother to read the nonsense of the six pages. Don’t listen to those auto guys. They’re like a cult. I’m m sure there was BS in these six pages about Jeep using software to fix the problem. Junk about...
It’s a limited issue. Not all or even most units are effected. If that vehicle was going to have it, it already would. Just check it over. If it looks good, then no problem.
Definitely my wife. When we went on our first date 10 years ago I picked her up in my two door JK. When she got in the Jeep she asked if we could take the freedom panels off. I knew right then she was the perfect girl. So many adventures since then!!
Millions of wrangler have been built and sold. Only a very very small % of them are represented on this forum. The vast majority of them go unmodified and live their life without issues so you never hear from the owners. Forums are like Yelp; most of the comments are the very small sampling of...
That’s what I said. I also asked why a brand new vehicle has so many unseated fuses. His response was, you should see how poorly BMWs are built. Amazing response from a person with no answer.
When I picked up my Jeep when it came in, I was going over everything inch by inch. When I popped the hood and checked the fuses, my shady dealer said, if anything is wrong mechanically it’s your fault now. How the F are there so many bad dealers. Why has this system not changed yet?
These are particularly this forum I think…
1) people are obsessed with the auxiliary battery. Get over it. Every new vehicle has one.
2) automatic owners love to hate on the manual because they’re jealous. They wanted a manual.
3) people are obsessed with the taser when it actually screws...
Enough with the “my exact Jeep would cost this much” comment. We get it. You’re stoked the new ones cost more than yours and you’re acting shocked. Of course it would be more.
The mopar rv harness is amazing. It does have a connector mounted to the bumper and there are no issues with the batter. Everything works perfect. Plug and go.
Has anyone come across soft half doors for the JL like the old CJ fabric doors that matched the top color? I have a premium tan soft top and would love to find fabric doors to match it.
I am one of the few people on here who actually have the JLR 6sp MT. I hear a TON of people complaining, or more likely only a select few who are very loud. As is the case with all forums or Yelp or whatever. I’ve driven and owned a bunch of MT vehicles and the JL is hands down the best. I’ve...
For f**ks sake…us millennials are in our 30s and early 40s with houses and kids. You’re talking about gen z. Hahahahah. If you going to shame someone, get it right lol.
I learned to drive on my grandpa’s 1982 CJ7 Laredo on his ranch in Arizona and in Anza Borrego Desert State Park when I was 10 or 12. I fell in love with Jeeps from that moment. Both my grandpa and his Jeep are gone but the memories live on every day. When I turned 16 I bought a 1995 YJ. Later I...
