I just went through a few days of crazy snow and ice and because i had taken heed of the warnings on this issue...I purchased 3 in 1 prestone de-icer for the windshield wiper solution, new blades and as others have stated the blocks from ebay also purchased the sliding block tool organizer. The sliding block was great... just space em out and lay it in to get the air to each side of wind shield.

Do you have link to which sliding block tool organizer you bought? Thanks

1/2" piece of aluminum from Lowe's with a 5" slot cut in middle taped down with black gorilla tape. Evenly defrosts entire windshield. Tape is noticeable in picture, totally unnoticeable looking in from windshield or sitting in seat
