I have the SiriusXM subscription because I do listen to it all the time, and I quite enjoy the weather map feature & weather alerts.

I'm not going to pay any extra for Jeep Connect, whatever it offers isn't something I've ever used. I honestly couldn't even tell you if I still have the free trial or not, don't know and don't care.

I've replied to the other thread about this. I like the accident notification (like OnStar) and use the remote features through my smart watch. I can also check the status of charge on the battery and use my Jeep as a way point when I hike to get back. All through my watch. I had to get something out of the Jeep when I was at the beach and left my keys in my beach bag. Instead of walking back, I just kept going and unlocked with my watch through the app.

What watch does this? That's awesome. Assuming it's an android/wearOS watch? I've never found anything like that for my garmin watch.

Yes, it's supposedly "$5 / month", but in my experience it ends up coming out closer to $6 after the various fees get added.
You are correct. $60 plus $12.84 Royalty fee = $72.84 per year. Comes out to $6.07 per month.

I have a Galaxy Watch6 Classic, but any Wear OS watch should work. Idk about the Apple ecosystem, but if the Jeep app is available on the Apple app store, then the Apple Watch will work too. It's basically the watch/wearable version of the app. Garmin watches are great for hiking and GPS tracking, but I'm not sure if you can load a Play store app on it.

I have a lifetime subscription to SiriusXM from decades ago. The only extra I pay for is $2/month for the TravelLink package (fuel prices, etc). I know that's available for free on Gas Buddy phone app but it is just too convenient to have it on the big screen. I constantly get emails urging me to add whatever they call that package for remote start, remote lock/unlock. I always delete those - not worth it at one third the price they're offering.

We only use it November-April for the cold Chicago winters for my wife's GCL so she can remote start with her phone from inside her work (can't use the key fob from inside a school). For her, it's worth the $15/month during the winter!

Is that lifetime for any vehicle, or lifetime through the app? We rarely have Internet when on the trail.

The original lifetime Sirius subscription was for a portable Sirius radio that I mounted in my '87 Comanche. It carried over to SiriusXM when they merged. Lifetime means lifetime of the radio but they allow you to transfer to new equipment for a fee ($75 when I transferred it to my 2019 JLUR). The lifetime subscription also works via the SiriusXM app on my phone and Alexa at home. I don't think they offer a lifetime subscription any more.

I pay the $24.99 a month for the XM Guardian with the app. I use the app everyday to start the Jeep, plus incase of an accident just like Onstar. It's all relative to you feeling it's worth the money. People will spend $8 a day on a Starbucks coffee and say $24.99 for that isn't worth it.

I get notices about every single day for $4.99 plus tax so ultimately ends up $72 I have tried to get it for a flat $60 a year but so far they have not gone that low.
Just wait. I get the $5 offer all the time and about every 6 months a 3 month free offer plus extend for 3 months for $3. I finally signed up when they offered $3 a month for a year, which comes to $4.80 with the music tax. $58 a year !

$58 a year is good for sure. Mine expired today and I bet I get 3 calls a day and I don't answer them. I decided I really don't need it.

I was getting so many calls that I blocked their numbers. They only call from a few.
I still get offers by email.

I'm getting an occasional email and, so far, no phone calls. We do have spam filters on both phone lines,
