Jeep connect activation issue.

Anyone have issues activating the Jeep Connect features?
Website/app will not accept username or password. Says to call representative. So far I tried password update, new email, confirmed vin, multiple browsers, app reinstall, etc. Rep escalated it a couple times with no resolution.

Today’s email :
“”Thank you for allowing Jeep Connect an opportunity to address your inquiry. Your satisfaction is very important to us.

Unfortunately we have not been able to resolve the issue with your account enrollment setup. Our team are still working to resolve the issue. “”

Been about a month. Am I actually missing anything if I don’t need the WiFi package?

Your Jeep may have been previously registered to another owner. I had a Rubicon 4xe for a week last summer(purchased and returned). It was on my Jeep app until and after it was sold again. It took them a couple weeks to transfer it to the new owner. I could see everything they would if they had the app and it was registered to them.

Are you missing anything? Yes and no. Starting, locking, unlocking from the app. Tracking info, fuel info, oil life, parental controls, valet mode and few things I'm sure I'm missing. Most things are redundant to what's in the Jeep.

Yup, that was me. I'm shocked the handle still works. I still have the JK and the poor thing has been on Jack stands for way too long.

If you are who I think you are, I may have given you a bit of a razzin when you first got a JLU?

The app should be able the list and differentiate between multiple Wranglers. I still have my totaled Willys and my new Rubicon listed.

Just got the jlu about a month ago. Had a gladiator for about 3 years that never saw any dirt. Work etc just got in the way.
There was some funny stuff back then with the JC & Dancin Dan et al. Couldn’t make it up if I tried.

It won’t accept my vin either from me or if the rep tries to input it. Just boots me out or tells me to call the 800 number.

I'm sure they'll get it worked out. I'd wait a day or so, call back and try to get to someone above a regular CSR. I'd also get the dealer involved.
