10$ a month just to be notified the cars alarm is going off and to track it? I’d much rather just slap an Apple air tag in the car and call it a day. At least no monthly for something like that.
An air tag doesn't tell you if someone has popped the hood or forced the door open. $10 a month is a pittance for the peace of mind. To each his own though.

Retired and loving it!
My year is nearly up and I'm considering sunscribing...just not sure at what level. We have/had Sirius/XM in all of our vehicles so that will continue regardless.

I can sse value in the remote start/lock feature and as I'm retired from
9-1-1 I also see value in the push-button call for assistance. We received those calls regularly when I was workong. I've played around with the notifications to my phone when the Jeep alarm is activated but can't get that to work (the notification, not the alarm).

I let the Guardian/Connect app expire. If I didn't have a garage it might be worth it for the remote start on winter mornings but otherwise not so much.

I did keep the Sirius XM app though for $5/mo. I like the variety of channels and no commercials. I went back to local FM the other day and it was like commercials with occasional music breaks... I know they have to sell ads to make their living but Jeebus. It's worth the $5 for me.

Nope, we don’t pay for any vehicle subscription services. Once the trial period expires, we let it end. The only exception is I did install a Sirius XM receiver in my RV and pay $5.00 a month. It works where cellular doesn’t.

No use for me. I can listen to nothing, or whatever music and podcasts are already downloaded to my phone.

Manual transmission means no remote start, which is fine.

Soft top means remote locking doesn't matter if they can just cut their way in.

I rarely drive it, so if I get an alarm notice I'll probably be too far to do anything and now have to stress about it.

If it gets stolen, it's not my problem any more. Maybe I'll get a some sort of tracker after I remove theft coverage from the insurance so I can possibly recovery it.

So, no, worthless to me.

I use spotify and android auto now adays, I used XM for over a decade I had a lifetime membership from when they offered it, I lost the truck in an arson fire in front of my house, XM told me that was the end of my lifetime sub. I used the XM alot while I was in the service because of the coverage area, even used it in Iraq and Afghanistan via the website for a few TOCs. its a good service but now they charge up unless you waste a bunch of time driving the price down and I think the web version costs money on top of the radio now

I really like Sirius and I do stream on the app often enough, even though I don't drive every day. We have three vehicles with the subscription and get a discount, but it ain't much.

I liked the service better when the app worked, I liked being able to see the charge state for my 4xe - would really make sense if I had it charging at work or at the store, although it was never really fast enough refresh in my mind.

I will keep the Sirius, but not sure I will resubscribe to the Connect service when it comes up again.

I have never really used the Jeep Connect app and my free subscription is up in a few days and of course getting bombarded with notices to re-up. I can't think of a reason it is worth even $5 a month let alone $15 a month. Those that use it must feel differently tho. who pays and thinks it is worthwhile? I don't mind paying the $72 a year for Sirrus radio as I do listen to that most of the time.
The connect features are the main reason I will never buy a Jeep again. If you don’t pay for Sirus Gaurdian or U-Connect (it all depends on model and year you own) one can’t lock or unlock car remotely, start the vehicle remotely, find your vehicle or get the Jeep health report. I just bought a Maverick for hauling stuff for gardening and the base model comes with all these features at no cost. I paid almost 2x more for the Jeep. At some point profitability needs to adjust for competition and consumer safety.

You still get the health report, but if these are the reasons for going with another brand then you might not be in the target audience for a Wrangler. Most of us don't give a damn about those things, even if they were hidden in the original price like they apparently are with your Maverick.

The majority of our off roading is in places where there's no connectivity. SiriusXM is just about everywhere and almost never cuts out. $6/month isn't horrible either, but you have to work them down to get that price.
I just renewed 3 subscriptions for $5 per month (+royalty fee): your're not working them hard enough...:like:

Yes, it's supposedly "$5 / month", but in my experience it ends up coming out closer to $6 after the various fees get added.

I've replied to the other thread about this. I like the accident notification (like OnStar) and use the remote features through my smart watch. I can also check the status of charge on the battery and use my Jeep as a way point when I hike to get back. All through my watch. I had to get something out of the Jeep when I was at the beach and left my keys in my beach bag. Instead of walking back, I just kept going and unlocked with my watch through the app.

I have it and XM radio. XM radio is one of the easiest negotiations you can do. I drive everyday so $100 a year is worth it to me.
