Still at it? It is a 3.6 E torque engine. Different from the 3.6 engine. The engine block is even different. I thought you knew everything?

People can’t post if they are unaware of the problem. How many people that only have 1 inch of clearance between the bump stops and the front axle actually investigated it. Or did they just complain about the small amount of clearance. I would send a picture of the part tag but it is hard enough to get there to see it, let alone take a picture.

Search the site. Many people found it, figured it out and, yes, posted about it.

Here is the engine I bought. The document is what the dealer gave me when I ordered my Jeep. Not a wish list. Not a 3.6

I'm no rocket surgeon but it does say 3.6L.

And if you keep reading it says 3.6 E torque engine , different from the 3.6. The block is even different. You can only order the Extreme Recon package with the E torque engine. What about that checkmate?

Yup! I remember reading about it a bit before ordering my 23 rubicon in september (or was it october? I can't remember) of 22

at the time you ordered you could also get the XR with the 2.0 turbo.
