We all have some pretty big reasons as to why we love our Jeeps, but sometimes it's the little things in life.

Every car I've ever owned has taken between 2/3 and 3/4 gallon of washer fluid. My Jeep takes exactly 1 gallon. This satisfies my soul on a level that I could never truly express.

What are your little things?

That actually bugs me. I add fluid before I run out so I always have a wee bit of fluid left in the bottle. Barely enough to bother saving but I don't want to chuck it either. Hmmph. So it has to sit out in plain view until I make enough room to get the whole gallon in.

I never use the windshield washer...lol. I have a 2011 F-250 that has never been refilled or used as far as I can remember. Definitely have not used the washer fluid on my Jeep. I just wait until it starts raining.

YMMV

In my last car I would always have 1 or 2 of those in the trunk because the whole thing would never fit. Drove me crazy.

I'm guessing they don't salt the roads where you live?

Very rarely, I'm in South Carolina. Hardly ever snows here.

Damn, I go through a gallon every 3 weeks here with the dang saltwater spray in the air stickying up all the windows daily. Gotta love coastal life…

Summertime, driving naked on the causeway to the island, and knowing the tide by the smell of the salt marshes. Yeah and I go through a lot of wiper fluid too from the greenheads. It’s like your windshield is getting shot with small paintballs.

Having driven a GMC Sierra since 2006, I most appreciate how small the doors are. I love that I can open them in pretty much any parking spot without having to be careful not to let them hit the cars next to me. They don't even reach the cars next to me.

You obviously never owned a German car. My Alltrack takes 5.0l (5.2 qt). My Eurovan takes 10L (10.5 qt). I will admit, I did convert it to have headlight washers and thus, it came with a new increased capacity tank. E46 BMW holds 5.3l (5,6 qt). My X3 had the low level light come on and I dumped in just over a gallon. I could go on and on.

On a number of German cars, they have a sensor for low washer fluid warning. Many of them will fail if you use something other than the blue stuff.

Maybe since they sell the Jeep in the EU and Jeep is owned by a company in Amsterdam, they just increased the capacity to be more European. It sure explains the USB-C port in it, as that's all the rage there. Even Apple will have to switch in a few years for there iPhone.

My entire family works/worked for GM. I'd be ostracized if I bought foreign
Don't they give any grief for driving a Jeep vs sth by GM?! ;)

All of my prior off-road capable vehicles never fit in my garages. They were always about 10-20 inches too long, so ended up sitting outside 24x7, which became a nightmare during some intense thunderstorms and winter snows (windows busted, hail damage, buried by plows, etc etc).

I ended up going the SUV route for years just to park inside my garage ?

My Wrangler is sitting happily tucked in my warm garage (with room to spare) watching other neighbors vehicles sit out in the cold, rain and snow we're having today here with a cheshire cat grin on her face ?

You obviously aren’t Italian. I caught shat for not naming one of my sons after someone I never knew. Make thanksgiving dinner fun and buy an Audi.

Since I have had my JL, my wife has had a Tahoe, Suburban, Wagoneer and now a Yukon xl. Weirdly enough, when I have gotten in each of those HUGE ass SUVs, the seats sit so high that I hit my head on the top of the door frame or I have to bend my neck so far to the side that it hurts just so that I don't hit my head. There is a ton of vertical room in the JL entrance so I just slip right and and out and nwver even come close to hitting my head. I love that about this vehicle.
